Singer/Songwriter, "The Artist:  Joe Jr." Releases Inspirational CD, Songs of Encouragement Vol. 2

(Chicago-March 2008)--Multi-talented performer Joe Wright, who is known to many as "The Artist: Joe Jr.," has the industry abuzz with the release of "Songs of Encouragement Vol. 2," on (Black Latin Asian Pop - Music Ministry) BLAPOP RECORDS.

"The Artist: Joe Jr." utilizes his musical skills to compose, sing and produce songs addressing Faith, Family and Fatherhood.

Formerly called "The Body Sounder," "The Artist:  Joe Jr." often mesmerized audiences with an uncanny ability to make his body sound like a drum machine while performing on both stage and national television's "Real People."  In addition to per- forming on other venues, he was uniquely profiled in EBONY and PEOPLE magazines.

Earning a  Bachelor's degree from  Millikin University and a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance from Northeastern University, "The Artist:  Joe Jr." parlayed his learning and musical savvy into writing and singing popular jingles through Prophecy Productions; and served as percussionist on the Tom ("The Fly Jock") Joyner Morning Show with the "Uncle Butchie's Live House Band."

The original composer of Esquire magazine's exercise video series, The Great Body Workout, "The Artist:  Joe Jr." also composed the song, "Pray" on the Grammy- nominated CD entitled "Peace in the Neighborhood" by the late Pop Staples of the Staple Singers.

Additionally, "The Artist:  Joe Jr." co-wrote "I Really Love the Lord" with Robert Bacon and the late Eugene Record, -- a Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and former member
of the Chi-Lites -- on his final CD, "Let Him In."
